Who knew a global pandemic would influence fashion choices of people? But everything in the world is connected to it only makes sense that even back when this whole virus thing was getting started fashionistas attempted to not only protect themselves but also accessorize with their face masks. These days, when the pandemic is in full swing it’s less about fashion and way more about staying safe and not spreading the virus. So let’s take a look at some Hollywood celebs, famous people and influencers wearing facemasks.
We would, however, like to remind you that the World Health Organizations says there’s no need to wear surgical masks unless you yourself are sick or are caring for someone who’s sick.
1. Bella Hadid
Bella sported what looks like an N95 mask on the plane. Safety first, especially when you’re gonna spend hours with people on the plane and you can’t be sure who’s sick and who’s not.
2. Cara Delevigne
Cara Delevigne and friends wore a surgical mask during the fashion week. Might we remind you at that point we weren’t as scared of covid-19 cause we didn’t know much about it yet.
3. Gwyneth Paltrow
Here you can see Gwyneth wearing a mask and gloves while carrying her groceries. Wonder if Goop will come up with some face serum that protects you from the virus.
4. Howie Mandell
Howie is quite a germaphobe, he’s always been one so it’s no wonder he went all out with his gear. But looks like he was right to only fistbump people for the past years and keep his distance. He’s used to it now, social-distancing and quarantine probably are second-nature to him.
5. Naomi Campbell
Naomi is striking poses in airports all covered up in a hazmat suit and surgical mask. Covid-19 but make it fashion.
6. Pharell Williams
Pharell also has been cautious and was spotted wearing a surgical mask in the airport. Do you think people will start wearing these on the plane more even after covid-19 is behind us?
7. Priyanka Chopra
N95 respirator and Ray Ban seems to be the new look these days. Protecting one’s eyes is also important, and wearing glasses will prevent you from touching or rubbing them with your hands.
